XIII Świętokrzyskie Mineral Processing Meeting
Like previous years, this year’s edition was organized in collaboration with the EMM Industry. The event took place at the picturesque Kocierz Hotel & SPA in Targanice, in the Beskid Mały Mountains, where we returned after four years. The event enjoyed record interest and provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge and experience exchange in the field of mineral processing.
The strategic partner of this year’s edition was the Czech mining company OKD, a.s. The presentations and lectures during the conference panel sparked great interest and led to further discussions. Prof. Barbara Tora, PhD, from the AGH University of Krakow, provided a detailed discussion on „The Methane Regulation and Its Consequences.“ Prof. Marcin Lutynski, PhD, from the Silesian University of Technology, presented „Preliminary Studies on the Thermal Properties and Deterioration of Materials Based on Mining Waste Suitable for Sensible Heat Storage.“ Dr Daniel Kowol from the Mining Technology Institute Instytut Techniki Górniczej KOMAG showcased „Application of a Pulsation Classifier for the Extraction of Selected Mineral Resources,“ while Eng. @Piotr Rak from PGG SA introduced the details of „Mechanical Coal Processing Plants at PGG SA.“ Our partners included the Silesian University of Technology, the Politechnika Gdańska, the VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, the Mining Engineers and Technicians Association SITG Kielce, and the Polish Friends of Minerals Society. The editorial teams of Kruszywa magazine (Elamed Media Group), Mining Engineering, and Mineral Engineering provided media patronage.
The meeting was also a perfect occasion to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Progress Eco and the 20th anniversary of the EMM Industry.
