Manufacturing technologies
Using specialised knowledge and a modern machine park, we manufacture woven screens in the form of single crimp weave and multi-crimp weave screens with square and rectangular openings.
Early crimping (profiling) of round wires ensures exceptional stability of the weave.
Rigidness of the screen is obtained by wire multi crimping in the vertical plane at the length of one opening.
Length of the opening may be many times larger than its width, which ensures a higher ratio of active surface.
Multiple crimping and additional interlaces guarantee durability and reduce the tendency to clog the screen.
Top quality products made of heat-resistant materials for hardening in plunge and chamber furnaces.
Parameters
For the improvement and development of product and material solutions, we use the experience of our engineers and our own Research and Development Centre.
Currently, we offer PROGRESS woven screens in the range of openings from 1.0 – 100 mm and wire diameter 0.8 – 6.3 mm.
The maximum width of woven screens is 4000 mm. At a Customer’s special request, we can manufacture screens with different diameters of weft and warp wires.
We provide detailed technical information in respect of individual requests.
Ferrules and finishes
A wide range of brackets for transversal and longitudinal tension ensures proper installation of PROGRESS woven screens on all types of vibrating seveters and sorters. Depending on the application, PROGRESS SCREENS™ offers a wide range of screen formatting, including cutting, shaping, and framing.
Materials
Woven screens used in different conditions require use of the highest quality black, stainless, acid-resistant, heat-resistant, kanthal, inconel or duplex steels. Their immediate availability is ensured by our material policy, and optimal selection by the support of our Construction and Technology Department.
